Open Studios at Gallows Hill Artists

Join us on December 6th to explore our new artist studios, expanded galleries, and shop the holiday market. Gallows Hill Artists is Salem’s only communal studio. The studios welcome a diverse group of 28 artists working across various media. Located in a former tannery at Proctor’s Ledge, this historic building survived the Great Salem Fire of 1914. Today, Gallows Hill Artists upholds this legacy of creativity and resilience, offering a vibrant community inspired by its unique history and character.
