COVID-19 Safety Protocols for Event Attendees:
By attending/participating in a Salem Chamber of Commerce hosted in-person meeting or event, all attendees affirm that:
- They are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, as defined by the CDC.
- They have not had a fever, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell that cannot be attributed to another health condition.
- They have not had contact with a person known to be infected, potentially infected, or exposed to someone infected with COVID-19 within the previous 14 days. (Prior to the event date)
- Follow the guidelines as laid out by the City of Salem Board of Health.

Join us at our first After Hours of 2023 at Sea Level Oyster Bar for networking and drinks, plus we will be selecting the Salem Sampler January Raffle Calendar $1000 Grand Prize winner! Join us from 5PM to 7PM, and enjoy connecting with your fellow Chamber members! The event coincides with our seventh Salem Sampler Raffle Calendar - a month jam-packed full of prizes! With the help of more than 60 different organizations, we are proud to showcase over $10,000 in prizes donated by Salem Chamber of Commerce member businesses and organizations that YOU could win! Salem's So Sweet Chocolate and Wine Kickoff Event
Friday, February 10
Timed Entries at 4:50PM, 5:30PM, & 6:10PMSalem's So Sweet Chocolate & Ice Sculpture Festival gets started with a Kickoff Event taking place in Downtown Salem on Friday, February 10, with timed entries beginning at 4:50 pm. Ticket buyers will start at the Peabody Essex Museum's Connect Space at 135 Essex Street (immediately to the left of PEM Main Entrance) where they will receive a commemorative glass, a complementary pour of wine, and a goodie bag of sweet treats before heading out to explore. There will be multiple shops nearby providing wine tastings for ticket holders, and participants can enjoy the illuminated ice sculptures and live music on the Essex Street Pedestrian Mall. Additional downtown retailers will be staying open until 8 pm that evening for shopping, treats, and/or tastings. Many downtown restaurants will be running unique specials and tastings as well.
Tickets must be purchased for one of three different timed sessions where ticket holders will be able to check in, receive their wine glass, pour of wine, and goodie bag. Ticket buyers may arrive any time during their selected window. Get your tickets online here.
