  • Welcome to the Salem Chamber of Commerce!

The Salem Chamber has started the next phase of it's re-opening plan. Salem Chamber employees, who will continue to work virtually from home, will also re-open the downtown office space each Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9 AM - 5PM. Kylie Sullivan, the Salem Main Streets executive director, will staff the office on Thursday (partial - Salem Farmers Market every Thursday 3-7pm) and Saturday. In this phase the office will not be open to the public, and we advise visitors and members alike to contact staff by phone (T.978-744-0004) or email. In-person programming is paused until further notice. Please click here for our detailed Salem Chamber Reopening Guide.

To reach us by email: Rinus Oosthoek - Rinus@salem-chamber.org or Jeff Swartz - Jeff@salem-chamber.org.

Design your own float or display, organize a performance or band, or support event with a sponsorship!

  • Haunted Biz Baz Applications are now available!

Participate as one of our vendors in the Haunted Happenings festivities by reserving your spot at the Salem Chamber of Commerce Haunted Biz Baz that will be held on Saturday, October 9 (10AM - 8PM) & Sunday, October 10, 2021 (10AM-6PM). The event annually draws tens of thousands of visitors to downtown Salem. Click here to learn more!

    • The two organizations (Salem Chamber and the Creative Collective) that traditionally manage the markets during the month of October are creating a unified plan to activate Salem Common in 2021.
    • The Haunted Biz Baz will NOT be on the Pedestrian Mall or Essex Street this year. This is a decision by the City of Salem and we support this decision to keep people safe and to help relieve some of the congestion of that area.
