    Salem Chamber Covid-19 Update

All around us, our region is taking action to minimize the spread of COVID-19. In congruence with the guidance of Governor Baker as well as the actions of other chambers and organizations, the Salem Chamber and Salem Main Streets will be working virtually from home until further notice and pause all in-person programming until April 30, at which point we will determine next steps. The best way to reach us is by email: Rinus Oosthoek - Rinus@salem-chamber.org or Jeff Swartz - Jeff@salem-chamber.org.

  • Now more than ever, support Small Businesses!

Social distancing is critical to mitigate the spread of the corona virus, but lack of customers will devastate small businesses. Consider where and how you shop and definitely consider shopping locally on-line. Also consider buying gift cards now and use them later. Visit our page to see which businesses are still open, including Essential Businesses, takeout/delivery restaurants, and retail. And finally: Dine in becomes Take out. Most restaurants facilitate take out and/or delivery. For a list of restaurants open for business in Salem, please click here.

If you are a small business owner/operator, please visit our page with support resources and information.
