Welcome to the Salem Chamber of Commerce!
The Salem Chamber has started the next phase of it's re-opening plan. Salem Chamber employees, who will continue to work virtually from home, will also re-open the downtown office space each Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9 AM - 5PM. Kylie Sullivan, the Salem Main Streets executive director, will staff the office on Thursday (partial - Salem Farmers Market every Thursday 3-7pm) and Saturday. In this phase the office will not be open to the public, and we advise visitors and members alike to contact staff by phone (T.978-744-0004) or email. Zoom Connection - Andy Varela of Salem's Maitland Mountain Farm - April 1
The Maitland family operates two greenhouses at their south Salem farm - growing the ingredients for their popular pickles, pickled vegetables and hot sauces. Andy also assists the city of Salem through his work in organizing and maintaining the Mack Park Food Farm which is a combination of a working municipal farm & a community food forest that was designed & built with help from Andy Varela. Their goal is to provide healthy, sustainably grown produce to Salem residents.

Salem Small Business Town Hall on Conflict and De-escalation, Thursday, May 6 at 9:00 AM
The City of Salem and the Economic Development Recovery and Revitalization Task Force will host a webinar on conflict resolution de-escalation for the small business community on Thursday, May 6 at 9:00 AM. Moderated by Mayor Kim Driscoll, the program will feature Acting Chief of Police Dennis King and Jennifer Finkle, who is an RN in Behavioral Health and certified instructor of CPI, a nonviolent system of crisis prevention.
When you register, you can submit questions and provide an example of a situation you would like support to better address in the future.
