Rob Liani, Owner of Coffee Time Bake Shop: "The Salem Chamber really advocates business interests and concerns to the city whether it relates to zoning, tax rates, or a multitude of other issues. The Chamber does a great job representing BUSINESS to the city.”
Jason Consalvo, Vice President, Market Manager at Salem Five Bank: "The level of advocacy that the Salem Chamber provides on behalf of the business community in Salem is unparalleled. Not only does the Chamber have the ear of local and state politicians but they are trying to make Salem a better place for business and to do business. How often do you get a chance to pay so little for getting your voice heard."
Hannah Beth Hembree, Development Director at The Salem Pantry: “When I first started working in Salem, I didn’t know anyone. I was nervous to attend my first Chamber event alone, but as soon as I walked in, Jeff welcomed me and introduced me to people right away. The Salem Chamber doesn’t just support and advocate for local businesses; it creates a genuine sense of community. They get to know you , not just your organization, and make sure everyone feels included and valued. Because of the Chamber, I’ve built meaningful relationships with neighbors and fellow business leaders. I’m genuinely grateful for the community they’ve helped me find.”
Alyse Grimm, Owner of Things to do in Salem: “The Salem Chamber of Commerce has been an incredible source of community and support for my business. Their advocacy for local entrepreneurs and commitment to fostering connections has helped me grow both professionally and personally. Being part of the Chamber means being part of a network that cares about the success and vitality of Salem’s business community.”
Jen Close, Peabody Essex Museum: “Monthly meetings with the Mayor allow the Chamber staff to have a direct impact on policy and events in Salem. Being a Chamber member is a great way for your business to make sure that you are involved in a way that benefits both the city and the business community.”
