Engineering Technician

New England Civil Engineering Corporation (NECE) is seeking motivated Engineering Technicians for internship, part-time, or full-time positions beginning Summer 2026. Join our active, collaborative team and gain hands-on experience supporting real infrastructure and environmental projects across Massachusetts' North Shore. Responsibilities include GPS and level surveying, environmental and water quality sampling, GIS mapping and spatial analysis, AutoCAD design support, technical report preparation, and construction observation. Work is split between engaging outdoor fieldwork and office-based tasks, with flexibility to emphasize either area based on your strengths and interests. We welcome applicants from Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, Environmental Science, Geography, Sustainability and GIS, and Cartography and GIS programs. AutoCAD experience is a plus but not required — we will train the right candidate. A valid driver's license and vehicle are required. Compensation commensurate with experience.
