Gift Shop & Gallery Attendant (Part-Time)

The Salem Art Gallery, located within The Satanic Temple of Salem, is looking for part-time retail staff for the 2026 busy season. This position has the potential to grow into a full-time opportunity. The work environment is lively and fun, with stunning goth, heavy metal, and Victorian aesthetics. As a Gift Shop & Gallery Attendant, you'd be expected to walk around the Gallery throughout the day to check on the artwork, as well as work at the Gift Shop counter. 

Starting Pay Rate: $20 Per Hour

Qualifications:

• MUST be 18 or older
• Retail experience is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills
• Shopify experience is a plus
• Able to give an introductory speech to visitors (script provided)
• Available at least 3 days per week
• Willing to stay late occasionally to work events
• Must be able to lift 40lbs or more
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Cleaning skills are a plus

Gallery Staff Available Hours: Tuesday-Sunday [Closed Mondays] 11:30am-5:30pm (Summer) | 10:00am-9:00pm (October) [Split shifts available in October]
