WED Talks W/ Haystack Observatory

Swing by East Regiment Beer Company for a WED Talk with Haystack Observatory. Three years ago, the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) Collaboration revealed an image that will forever change the way we view our universe. This is an exciting time for all, as black holes are moving from the realm of imagination to reality with this ongoing effort. As one of the developers of the EHT, I will share some of the story behind the pictures -- how the data was acquired, the images produced, and the science we are working to understand.
