Silent Film Screening with Live Organ Music Saturday February 7th

We are thrilled to welcome back the incomparable organist Peter Krasinski to First Church in Salem to accompany the silent film classic The IT Girl. Peter’s virtuosic, imaginative playing brings silent cinema vividly to life, transforming the historic sanctuary into a living, breathing movie palace. The IT Girl is a sparkling, fast-paced romantic comedy that is perfectly suited to a live organ performance. Taking place during Salem’s So Sweet Festival, held the weekend before Valentine’s Day, this special event adds a delightfully romantic, vintage flourish to the city’s celebrations, offering audiences a truly sweet blend of film, music, and timeless love.
In a time of division and fear, the First Church in Salem is pleased to be a place that celebrates creativity, art, music, and community-building.
