Salem Dance Ensemble Concert

The spring 2025 Salem Dance Ensemble features original choreography by student and faculty artists and a performance by SSU's Hip Hop Dance Ensemble. The concert will also feature an original piece by spring semester choreographer-in-residence Angelina Benitez. Benitez has worked on the piece Icarus was right, it was worth it with ten students selected by audition. Inspired by an original poem, this piece is a contemporary telling of the rise and fall of Icarus. It is a collaborative reflection on cycles, community, and hope in a time when it is so desperately needed. Suggested donation of $10 at the door supports the Dance Honors Society.
