Buried Treasures Part II: A Harmony Grove Cemetery Spring Walking Tour with Jim McAllister

Join Salem’s official historian, Jim McAllister, on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 1:00 PM, for another unforgettable Buried Treasures walking tour! Whether you joined us for the first part of the tour series last year or will be attending for the first time, this year’s event promises to be especially memorable! The tour will take place on the 186th anniversary of the consecration of Harmony Grove Cemetery, and we are preparing something special to commemorate this important milestone in the Cemetery’s history. This 90-minute tour will feature carefully chosen stops and stories that bring into focus the lives of some of the cemetery’s permanent residents, including the retailer Daniel Low, the landscape architect Harlan P. Kelsey, and many others.
