Join Salem Sound Coastwatch and the Abbot Public Library on Wednesday, March 27th from 7-8:30 pm for third presentation in the Underwater in Salem Sound Lecture Series, "Sea Turtles in New England." Kate Sampson, Sea Turtle Stranding and Disentanglement Coordinator for NOAA Fisheries’ Greater Atlantic Region, will discuss her work responding to sea turtles in distress and what she has observed over the last 8 years working for NOAA fisheries. The Underwater in Salem Sound Lecture Series is held at the Abbot Public Library, 235 Pleasant Ave in Marblehead and is free and open to the public.
