ROOTED IN COMMUNITY - AN EVENING OF FOOD, FRIENDS, AND FUN……. AT THE CABOT! Mark your calendar to join us on Thursday, October 16th, for Rooted in Community, Root's Annual Celebration! Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and small plates highlighting locally sourced ingredients prepared by Root alumni and a selection of festive beverages. Featuring cooking demonstrations by Root alumni, fresh music from Three Second Chances and Zumix, remarks from some of our graduates, and a live and online auction to benefit Root’s Culinary Training, Alumni Employment, and Community Catering Programs. Each year, we present the Root Community Leadership Award to a key partner or ally in our mission. This year, we are proud to recognize Robyn Burns of The Salem Pantry.
