DESCRIPTION:On select Thursdays this October\, you are invited to relax like a member of the Phillips family after a day of exploration in Salem with a casual wine reception\, historic home movies\, and a twilight mansion tour. Thursdays at Twilight will be taking place on October 8 and 15. There will be two sessions to choose from each night 5:00   7:00 p.m. and 6:00   8:00 p.m. at the Phillips House Museum\, located at 34 Chestnut Street in Salem\, Mass. The cost is $30.00 and $15.00 for members of Historic New England.\n\n \n\nA casual wine reception will start the evening. Selections from Phillips family home movies provide a glimpse of how the family lived in the house and entertained\, and where they traveled in their leisure time. The historic house tour will allow visitors a chance to explore the museum at twilight and see how electric light of the early twentieth century transforms a Federal-era house. \n\n \n\nPlease call 978-744-0440 or visit www.historicnewengland.org for more information or to register.
