The performers in this ensemble are considered among the greatest living exponents of this music. This unique concert experience will be guided by spontaneous performance practice (klen ngan b bas) and an informal\, organic atmosphere. The music is highly improvisational and makes use of little or no written notation. There is no conductor and all of the musicians are able to play all of the instruments in the ensemble. Audience members will have the option of sitting on the stage with the musicians on cushions and mats\, creating a very intimate experience of the music.
